This process alone in cleaning with baby wipes can help with the healing.
Another way of using witch hazel is to buy wipes that already have the herb in them. There are many commercial wipes available so you don’t have to do these mixtures on your own. Also look out for ones that have aloe in them which is another natural alternative.
Like any one treatment option, witch hazel is not the end all in hemorrhoid treatment. Making sure you have enough water and are eating foods for a properly soft bowel movement goes a long way in the healing process.
