Anus problem?

Hi.
I’m male. I’ve got this thing near the entrance of my anus, but it’s NOT the hemorrhoids. I’ve had it for almost 3 years now. It never bothers me. It neither hurts nor bleeds regularly. Sometimes it releases very little amount of blood when gets a bit larger.
A doctor says an infection had gotten in there sometime and the only way of getting rid of it is operation.
Should I go for it? Or should I look for other cures like other than cutting my anus?

How to avoid Hemorrhoid operation? Pls help!?

Dear friends, I am getting scared when i surf net when i read about Hemorrhoids and piles because for the past 3 years (i know its too much of time) i am feeling a pulling pain in my anal after bowel movement which is rare and mostly during night between 3-5 am. For the past 3 years only once i saw blood with the stool. I am feeling shy to show to the doctor which i know is not wise (planning to meet doctor soon). How to find out myself whether it is a internal or external hemorrhoid and is it curable and what should i do to avoid any operation. Please don’t send 2 line answer i need in detail. Hey, to find out whether it’s a hemorrhoid or not I suggest taking a good look at the symptoms – I’ve briefly outlined 5 of the main ones for you below:.

1. The first hemorrhoid symptom is bright red blood in or on the stool, or blood on the toilet paper. If you notice streaks of blood in or on the stool or on the toilet paper during or after bowel movement then it’s fairly likely that you have hemorrhoids.

2. The second hemorrhoid symptom is when you have a feeling that you can’t finish passing a stool. You may have noticed that not matter how hard you try – you just can’t pass the stool

5. Mucus emissions are a slightly less common symptom of hemorrhoids but it is worth mentioning here because it does occur in some people.

hemorrhoids???PLEASE HELP!!! Pleassse….?

My sweeatheart sent me a pic showing his anus which is evidently has this kind of illness. We’re planning to consult his doctor about this problem as soon as his mom’s goiter operation is done. Considering that we still need to wait for like 2 couples of months, what are the things that could help him? He told me, it’s painful after defacating. What could have caused it? Hemmorhoids are simply aggravated veins around the anus. He is aggravating them when he pushes during defecation or thrusting during sex. He needs to try to keep the pressure around his anus to a mininum. Do NOT strain at all. He should get some hemorrhoid pads to wipe the area to make sure it is clean. Also, soaking a cotton ball in Witch Hazel and placing it directly on the anus for about 10 – 15 mins may help. Do it as often as necessary. If he is in a lot of pain, he definitely needs to see doctor – They can help reduce the inflammation or remove them altogether.

Side effects of hemorrhoidectomies?

I hope I spelled it right.
I ask this question because I’m gay and I wanna know if after having hemorrhoids surgically removed, I’d still be able to have anal sex, if it would be painful or not, if I would bleed, if there’s a chance of becoming impotent (as I read once), etc.
And another thing, while having the problem (not having yet the operation), what could happen if you have sex, and if you use lubricant?
Oh, and is “Anusol” anything like Prep H? Cuz we don’t have Prep H here but we do have Anusol.

There is not a lot of info out there regarding what can happen after surgery. You might search out a doctor who is comfortable talking about these issues. Here is some info I found:

Anal sex shouldn’t hurt. Having hemorrhoids can make anal sex painful. People who find anal sex painful often do not use enough water-based lube; others are not relaxed or aroused enough. Using lots of lube — which makes anal (and vaginal) sex more slippery and wet — can increase pleasure for both you and your partner.
