anal bleeding

Bleeding from the rectal area may be caused due to a number of reasons and bleeding hemroids are not always the reason. If you have hemroids however, the worst case that can happen is bleeding hemroids. But that does not mean that you have to treat yourself thinking that you have a hemroid that bleeds as soon as you find blood oozing from your anus.

Consulting a physician is important before taking any kind of medication for this condition. Over the counter drugs can be a bit dangerous and not advised however. The best would be controlled dieting and healthy eating habits if you truly want your hemroids to be cured.

Bleeding hemroids-why do they occur?

Bleeding hemroids occur inside the anal tract most of the time. Therefore, they are known as bleeding internal hemroids in general. Excessive abrasion and strain in the anal tract are the causes and if not treated promptly, can get aggravated. This occurrence happens when the internal veins of the anal tract grow in size.

Now this enlarging of the veins occur due to the clotting of blood inside the blood vessel leading to a condition called the varicose veins. Hence, the veins bulge-up and swell in a dangerous manner.

It’s necessary for these veins to get cut and damaged for bleeding to happen however. Everytime you go to the toilet, streaks of blood on your stool becomes noticeable. When you become aware of this condition, a prompt visit to the doctor is needed.

The occurrence of bleeding is also caused usually by formation of cracks or fissures in the walls of the anus which is equivalent to an external burst of the veins. If your doctor fails to find any cracks or other external reasons for bleeding however, it’s a good idea to get yourself examined for other causes of bleeding as it can also be due to organ damage.

Bleeding hemroids- indications

Indications of bleeding hemroids would obviously include bleeding and oozing of blood from your excretory tract. The blood that will be coming out will be bright red in color and very fresh. A very dark color of the blood would be an indication that something is infected deeper within the anal canal. This is a sign that hemroids are not the cause of your bleeding.

Among hemroid patients though, bleeding is common and if the blood loss is severe enough, can actually cause anemia. However, these are very aggravated indications whereas usually you bleed only little from hemroids.

So whenever you have a bleeding check if it is a bleeding hemroid and do the needful. A good balanced diet and healthy eating regimen will surely take you a long way in keeping you safe from bleeding hemroids.

Hemorrhoids can affect any person, compromising the area located around the anus and the lower rectal area of the body. It is a condition that at some point in life affects more than half of the population, to varying degrees, but due to ignorance about their symptoms and the taboo that surrounds this disease, many people are not aware that they are affected by it. It will surely bother you once you realize that you have this kind of problem.

It is important to be familiar with the symptoms that occur when a person suffers from hemorrhoids, so that the necessary measures can be taken to contribute to cure this disease, and thus prevent the disease from getting worse and become a chronic case. You should be aware that the symptoms listed below are the most frequent and that each person’s disease manifests itself differently.

Following are the most common symptoms of hemorrhoids:

• Pain and itching in the anus. It is common to experience a sensation of pain, discomfort or itching in the anus, caused by the swelling of veins in the anus. To eliminate the pain, ii is necessary to reduce the swelling, which can be achieved with any treatment designed for that purpose or with topical creams that accomplish the same task.

• Repeated bleeding from the rectum. This is the most obvious symptom of hemorrhoids, while that may be the most painful and alarming, since the blood always attracts attention. To check if you have rectal bleeding, you only need to clean the anal-rectal area after a bowel movement.

Generally, it is likely that this is only mild bleeding. This is because there is a slight irritation of the veins in the rectum and anus, causing internal or external bleeding. If you experience bleeding that has been presented for a long time and does not consider it normal, it is advisable to consult your doctor as soon as possible.

• Itching. The affected area is irritated and becomes very sensitive, so it is likely to be itchy. The reason why it is irritated is because it takes hard clean the area where hemorrhoids occur. To relieve itching, proper and thorough cleaning in the anorectal area is required.

• Lumps in the anus. These are swollen veins located in the anus, which are so because they are full of blood. These balls are usually formed when external hemorrhoids develop. Initially starting as small balls that grow as time passes and when nothing is done about it.

Here are some symptoms of chronic hemorrhoids:

• Anal Seepage. When the piles have been completely filled with blood and swollen, then the blood looks for a natural outlet. In the long run there is leakage of waste material in the anal cavity, affecting the daily activity of the person and likely causing excruciating pain. In cases like this it is necessary to see your doctor immediately.

• Unbearable Pain. Once the blood collection within hemorrhoids hardens, then the discomfort, itching and pain are multiplied to the point of becoming unbearable. Again, you must see your doctor immediately.

what causes occasional anal bleeding after a bowel movement?

i have anal bleeding like 1 out of 6 times i have a bowel movement, what do you think it is. i think it might be constipation, although i never feel constipated, maybe i just dont know what it feels like, but anyway i drink very little water, and i drink alot of soda, and i eat very little fruit and vegetables, maybe a fruit a day and i havent ate vegetables since i cant remember,. please help

It could be you might be pushing too hard. You know you are constipated when it’s hard for you to have a bowel movement.

Incorporate more water, less soda, and more fruits and vegetables into your diet. ESPECIALLY fiber. If that doesn’t work, you need to go see a doctor.
