Bleeding hemorrhoid most common treatment?

My husband has a hemmorhoid (External,i believe) and it has gotten a small slit in the middle that is bleeding. I am taking him to the doctor tomorrow, but was wondering can anyone give me a good idea of what to expect there.Especially what kind of treatment we might be looking at. Also would surgery even have to be on the table right now, we really don’t want to do anything that extreme yet. Any Answers are appreciated.

Prevent further damage on his external anal sphincter by:
*avoiding constipation (eat fiber rich foods such as oat meal, drink extra fluid such as water and prune juice)
*avoid foods that may cause constipation
*avoid straining during defecation and avoiding too much friction during washing of the area
*sit on a doughnut-shaped cushion to avoid direct pressure on the anus

Provide temporary relieve by:
*sitting on a warm water (steam)
*or apply ice
*too much pain- can take mild analgesics but non opioids because it causes constipation

if it is too painful and damaged, the doctor may suggest an operation, hemorrhoidectomy. it is a short procedure done in an OPD or in a minor surgery suit. the patient may go home afterwards. god bless.

It hurts to have bowel movements

i had a fissure and exterior hemorrhoid about month ago and after doing all recommended treatments they both healed. everything was fine for about a week and now its starting to hurt to have bowl movements from the beginning when it starts to travel out. i have a feeling i have an interior hemorrhoid and do not yet have my insurance cards and need home remedy suggestions while i wait to see a doctor. bowel movements usually happen slowly and hurts. i have an adult rash and to what feels like a rash inside also. when i wipe there is like a total amount of a drop of blood on the toilet paper and there are sensitive lumps on the outer part of the anus. im using preperation h ointment and wipes and drinking lots of liquids and eating a lot of fiber…tho it feels as softer poop does not help. does anyone have any suggestions?

Once the diagnosis has been confirmed by biopsy, the clinical stage of the cancer is assigned. Using the characteristics of the primary tumor, its depth of penetration through the bowel, and the presence or absence of regional or distant metastases, the stage of the cancer is derived. Often, the depth of penetration through the bowel or the presence of regional lymph nodes can’t be assigned before surgery.

With many cancers other than colon cancer, staging plays an important pre-treatment role to best determine treatment options. In colon cancer, almost all colon cancers are treated with surgery first, regardless of stage. Colon cancers through stage III, and even some stage IV colon cancers, are treated with surgery first before any other treatments are considered.

Surgery

Surgical removal of the involved anatomic segment of colon (colectomy) along with its blood supply and regional lymph nodes is the primary therapy for colon cancer. Usually, on the basis of the blood supply, the partial colectomies are separated into right, left, transverse, or sigmoid.
