irritable bowel syndrome
How Can I know if my dog has Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Inflammatory Bowel Disease?

She has diarrhea, and has had it for a long time. she doesn’t have worms or enzyme insuffiecy. And how can I help her? I’ve already tried rice, chicken, keopectate, different kinds of dog food, and yogurt.
I’ve taken her to the vet alot! and have spent alot in tests and medication. the vet says its probably irritable bowel syndrome and that we should be careful about stressing her out, like don’t get her to excited.

Take the dog to the vet. Diarrhea continuing for more than about 24 hours should be evaluated. It could be all sorts of things wrong with her, from parasites to food allergies (I know a dog that is allergic to beef, chicken, turkey, duck, rice, wheat, soy, corn, barley and millet), to something even more serious. The only way to tell and to fix the issue is to have your vet examine your dog.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome: What is the best treatment?

Hypnotherapy is the best treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a very distressing condition yet there is no abnormality of the gut. It is the commonest gastrointestinal illness and affects as much as 20% of the global population. It is the most common condition seen by Gastroentologist. It is not just a heavy burden on the sufferer but to Health Professionals, the Health Providers and Industry.

There are numerous treatments available for Irritable Bowel Syndrome but the treatment that produces the best long term benefits is hypnotherapy. Although experts think hypnotherapy should be used in severe or refractory IBS, it should be offered to everyone with IBS

If you know how hypnotherapy works, you will understand why it is so effective in the treatment of IBS. During hypnotherapy, the hypnotist attempts to create a trance state. The main intention is to put the subject into Theta brainwave state. Awake and alert you are at Beta state.

When you are at Theta brainwave state, you are hyper-suggestible. Suggestions from the hypnotherapist will reach the Subconscious Mind because the filters that are likely to reject this information are relaxed. In addition the reality generator in the REM sleep can be activated by the hypnotherapist. In the Theta state, visualisation becomes very very powerful. In the REM state, dreams occur and visualisation during REM sleep is no different from a dream. At the time it is very real. In REM state the brain cannot differentiate what is real or just imagination.

Visualisation and post hypnotic suggestions in Theta State in very effective. Negative information can be replaced by positive ones by the hypnotherapist in the Theta state. The benefits only result after there is change in belief, perception and expectation of your IBS. Relapse after hypnotherapy develops when doubts creep into the mind of the IBS sufferer. If the IBS sufferer believes the symptoms of IBS will return, it will.

As long as the subject continue to believe that he or she is in total control, the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome will stay away. Go against the experts and have hypnotherapy at the easriest opportunity. Well established sufferers have several layers of negative information in their mind and it will take longer to replace with positive info while newly diagnosed IBS patients will respond to only a few sessions because the hypnotherapist has less work to do. It will take over twelve sessions of hypnotherapy and home treatment with self hypnosis tapes to produce satisfactory results. In numerous cases, however, the results are outstanding.

It is clear that whatever explanation experts can offer, the simplest one is that the hypnotherapist is replacing negative with positive in the Subconscious Mind. Does it not makes sense, therefore, to have hypnotherapy as soon as you can?

Get the best IBS treatment. See a gut directed hypnotherapist.

Home Remedies and Natural Treatments for Constipation

Natural treatments for constipation are not only easy to use and highly effective, but they support good bowel health overall. As this simple condition that is experienced by many can often lead to other more complicated issues further down the line, such as a weakened immune system, hemorroids, and toxic fecal impaction, it is enormously important that constipation be avoided at all costs. However, when constipation does occur, natural treatments are the most effective, safest way of relieving this condition.

A key component of good health is having a healthy bowel movement daily. In situations in which this doesn’t occur, it can often be a case in which the constipation is driven by less than conducive lifestyle habits. Constipation is generally defined as a person having a bowel movement between zero and three times per week.

When a person who is experiencing constipation finally does have a bowel movement, the stool is usually painful or uncomfortable in passing. The stool is also typically hard, dry and is expelled in small pieces. Even though a bowel movement may have occurred, this condition usually is linked to a bowel that is not completely emptied, which again will bring about further tummy and anal discomfort.

Although constipation is most often caused by a poor diet and poor lifestyle choices, other conditions, such as pregnancy, aging, hypothyroidism, irritable bowel syndrome, laxative abuse, certain medications, and a habit of purposely avoiding bowel movements may cause constipation. While over the counter and traditional medical interventions do well to address the condition, they are not without risk of side effects, nor do such treatments address the root cause of this condition. On the other hand, natural treatments for constipation help in addressing the symptoms, as well as help in correcting the lifestyle imbalances that originally caused the constipation.

Eating foods that are high in fiber is one of the best, most obvious ways of naturally treating constipation. Even though this may seem quite east to get on top off and carry out, many of us do not consume nearly enough fiber each day within their diet. To correct this, those prone to constipation should increase their intake of foods high in fiber, such as apples, peaches, flaxseed, oatmeal, bananas, whole grain foods and other fresh vegetables. They should also increase their fluid intake by drinking water, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetable juices.

By supplemeting with certain foods, there are also other foods that should be utterly avoided. Some of these include processed sugar, processed flour, fast food, caffeine, alcohol, cheese, and meat. As often as you can, the foods mentioned should be replaced with foods that are high in fiber, or better yet completely removed from the diet.

Regular exercise is also crucial in maintaining a healthy bowel and treating constipation. Daily exercise that involves at least 30 minutes of movement is helpful in increasing circulation and optimizing intestinal function. Daily walking, jogging, yoga, tai chi and other mild to moderate exercise is recommended.

By treating constipation naturally, a person is able to, not only correct the bad habits that led to the original bout of constipation, but can safely avoid its recurrence. Natural treatments for constipation have been safely and effectively used for generations to treat this common discomfort and are completely without risk or side effects. In making simple diet and lifestyle changes, constipation can be corrected, as a host of other conditions can also be avoided in the process.
