Vitamin creams are an often overlooked facet of an effective health and beauty routine. These creams can dramatically improve the condition of your skin. Of course different vitamins are good for different skin issues.

It is probably that you take a general vitamin each day. Applying vitamin cream is the same concept. Vitamin creams are topical. You put them on your skin not in your mouth to swallow. The results of this application are completely different than if you took the vitamins orally.

There are four major vitamins in the topical vitamin world. Your skin can benefit from nearly every vitamin. However, these four have key roles in major skincare issues.

A vitamin cream generally is intended for direct application to a problem area. Depending on your skin problem, your cream should contain:

• Vitamin A for results of tighter skin. Vitamin A helps skin keep in moisture. It also gives skin a more youthful look. Vitamin A sometimes may be called retinol. It might cause sun sensitivity. Use it with a lot of care.

• Vitamin E for scarring. Vitamin E can help heal scars and tears. It is a great deep wrinkle treatment as a result. Lots of people use vitamin E oil on scars and stretch marks.

• Vitamin K to help with discoloration. If you have problems with rosacea, then vitamin K is a must. You can also treat sun and age spots this way. However, for some people breakouts results from vitamin K creams. Watch your skin closely to get results that you want.

• Vitamin C if you want anti-aging action. Vitamin C has healing capability inside and out. This means that vitamin C can literally heal up wrinkles and tears in your skin. However, it might blister very sensitive skin. Use it sparingly and monitor results closely.

You can definitely get serious results with topically applied vitamins. Paired with oral vitamins, vitamin creams can dramatically improve skin.
